Assistant Principal's Biography
I am thankful and excited for the opportunity to serve as Assistant Principal at East Davidson High School. Serving both the students and parents is a privilege and I am honored to return to this great community where my teaching career began.
Entering my 19th year in education, my passion for helping students achieve individual success increases every day. I graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelors in Education and Psychology and earned a Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. My experience includes teaching mathematics and history at the middle school level for twelve years and the high school level for six years. During my second stint at Brown Middle School, I was selected as the Teacher of the Year for the 2006-2007 school year. I was also selected as the Outstanding Secondary Math Teacher of the Year for the Randolph County School System in May of 2016. In addition I have spent seventeen years coaching at the middle and high school levels, with my last year serving as Head Coach for the girls soccer team at Southwestern Randolph High School.
It is both and honor and a privilege to join an East Davidson High School staff known for its dedication and commitment to excellence led by Mr. Russ Snyder. My goal is to do whatever it takes to help staff members, students, Ms. Woodrum, and Mr. Snyder excel and meet their individual and school wide goals.
My responsibilities as Assistant Principal includes Building/Grounds, Facilities, Safety Training, Buses, Custodial, Cafeteria, and shared Testing responsibilities.
I look forward to meeting each of you and helping your child's time at EDHS to be an enjoyable experience. Please feel free to contact me at (336) 476-4814 Ext. 2522 or email@example.com.
