My name is Heather Branscome and I am so excited to return to East Davidson for my second year. I graduated a Golden Eagle back in 1997 and my family and I have lived in the community since moving back in 2004.  I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Wingate University, a Master's degree in Reading Instruction K-12 from Grand Canyon University, and my AIG licensure from High Point University.  This will be my 22nd year of teaching!  I spent thirteen years teaching elementary, six years teaching middle school ELA, and two years teaching English 3 at EDHS.  Coming home to walk the halls of my high school as an educator is a dream come true!  In addition to teaching English III and English III Honors, I am also the Student Council sponsor and a mentor in our Beginning Teacher program.
