Mrs. Hiller
Welcome to the East Davidson High School Career Center
The Career Center at East Davidson High School provides resources to support students in a variety of ways. Planning which courses to take in high school, learning about careers, and exploring options for post-graduation are some of the activities available to students.
I am Mrs. Hiller, the Career Development Coordinator. This is my 20th year as an East Davidson Golden Eagle. I have a B.A. in Psychology, with a minor in Human Development & Family Relations from UNC-Greensboro. My Master of Arts in Counseling is from Regent University. Before joining EDHS I was a vocational evaluator and community counselor.
My goal for each student is to leave high school with an idea about what he/she would like to do after high school and beyond. Exploring student's interests and creating both short and long-term goals as they relate to the world of work is an important task to start as early as possible. Presentations, guest speakers, field trips, information meetings, and more are utilized to help students learn about their options and begin planning for the future.
