Media Center Hours

    Monday – Thursday    7:40am - 3:30pm

    Friday                           7:40am – 3:15pm

**Hours are subject to change due to meetings, testing, and other school activities.

Students may visit before and after school, during lunch (with a lunch pass--stop by the media center first thing in the morning to get a lunch pass), and during class time with a pass from a teacher.  Students must ALWAYS sign in when entering the library! Sign in the register at the circulation desk. The register documents that the student was in the library and at what time. Please enter & exit quietly, and be respectful of students working in the library at all times.  No food or drinks are allowed in the library.

You are responsible for any material you borrow. Do not borrow materials for other students. Students are responsible for returning books even if they are not notified that items are overdue.

    • All material taken from the library must first be checked-out at the circulation desk.
    • Materials can be checked out for 2 weeks at a time.  Due dates are written in the back of book.
    • Materials can be renewed up to 2 times.
    • A student may check out up to 3 items at a time.
    • Students are responsible for returning books ON TIME.
    • Students are charged 5 cents per school day for overdue items -- maximum of $5.00
    • Students may not check out any materials of they have overdue items or fees due.
    • If you lose or damage a book, you are responsible for its cost.
    • Fines need to be settled before prom or graduation ceremonies. Fines do not disappear just because you return the book, and fines carry over year to year.

Everyone is expected to be courteous and to respect their fellow students, the school staff, the library facility, its furnishings and the library materials. Failing to abide by the rules of the library will result in lost privileges.

Student use of library computers is a privilege, not a right.  Access to the Internet in Davidson County Schools is governed by Board of Education policy. School and library rules also apply.  You may use library computers for school related use of the Internet. See the librarian for help using any computer in the library and report problems immediately.

Print responsibly! Know the number of pages you are printing BEFORE printing. Report printing problems immediately. If it doesn't print after the first try, don't try again! Documents are printed to the Media Center Copier.
