National Conference Summer 2025
The East Davidson FBLA chapter had an incredible school year and summer, reaching
new heights together. Each individual accomplished great things, but there are two
specific members that should be highlighted. Om Patel was elected to serve as this
year’s FBLA NC Co-President. Prior to this, Om was in his second year as the FBLA
Vice President for the Triad Region. Recently, he demonstrated strong leadership when
he assumed greater responsibilities following the NC FBLA President’s transition to
serve as the National FBLA President. Om’s continued dedication highlights his
commitment to advancing leadership opportunities for students across North Carolina.
At the FBLA National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California, Krina Patel
achieved outstanding success by placing 5th in the nation in her competitive event,
Word Processing. She proudly represented East Davidson High School and Davidson
County Schools, showcasing her academic excellence and competitive spirit on the
national stage. These accomplishments reflect the dedication and leadership of all
FBLA members from East Davidson. Both Om and Krina Patel exemplify the mission of
FBLA in preparing students for careers in business and leadership while bringing
recognition to their schools, region, and state.
