Welding Technology
Teacher Information: I have spent most of my career working as a Plant Manager, overseeing operations of cold formed steel manufacturing facilities. I have extensive experience hiring, training and supervising welders, maintenance professionals, production workers and project managers. In my four years here at East, we have formed the county's first SkillsUSA Welding chapter, won multiple state titles, competed in nationals, and had one of our students become the SkillsUSA NC President. We offer a number of credential opportunities and have formed valuable relationships with employers in our community. As we continue to build the welding program here at EDHS, we will continue to invest generously in our students, school, community, America and the world around us.
