About Me

My name is Amanda Akins. I began my teaching career at Albemarle High School (Albemarle, NC). I taught at AHS for two school years. While there, I was also the varsity softball coach. 

 

I have been teaching math at East Davidson since 2011.  Besides teaching, my roles include being the Math Department Head, SIT team member, Homecoming Committee and Gradutation Committee member. 

 

I am an East Davidson High School graduate (2005).

I graduated from Pfeiffer University (2009) with a degree in Mathematics and Secondary Education.
