Greetings EDHS Community,
I am excited to return back to East Davidson High School as a member of the administration team as an Assistant Principal. I am grateful for this position and looking forward to teaming up with Mrs. Woodrum and Dr. Hayes in making this an awesome school year.
Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a proud Davidson County native and a graduate of North Davidson High School. Prior to joining the EDHS family, I taught sixth-grade mathematics and science at Central Davidson Middle School for ten years. I have served on many district planning and implementation committees for secondary education throughout my time with Davidson County Schools. For the 2019-2020 school year, I had the distinct honor of being named Davidson County School’s Teacher of the Year. I believe that with a positive attitude, a growth mindset, and good character, anyone can achieve great things.
As your Assistant Principal, my goal is to build authentic relationships, challenge our students to reach beyond their expectations, and be a positive role model. I am committed to supporting the Principal’s strategic vision and will work diligently with our faculty and staff to carry out the vision. I am ecstatic about the possibilities that this school year will bring and proud to be a part of the Eagles Family as we SOAR to new heights!
