Welcome to World History! I look forward to guiding you through the intriguing and sometime colorful history of our great world. I encourage you to challenge yourself and learn about many things that encompass the history of the world. I know with proper guidance and work ethics, there are no excuses for everyone’s success. Working together we will have an enjoyable and very successful semester. The focus of this course provides students with a framework for studying political, social, economic, and cultural issues and for analyzing the impact these issues have had on a global society. This course goes beyond memorization of isolated facts to the development of higher level thinking skills, encouraging students to make historical assessments and evaluations.
